Out of 28,000 entries my beloved cat Billi came into the top ten of the Spay Day Photo Contest! It’s one of my favourite pictures of here yawning. Spay Day is a great cause and every vote for every picture goes to a chosen charity. I chose one in India where street dogs and cats are everywhere and live often miserable lives. The charity is called “Visakha Society for Protection and Care of Animals “.
They do a fantastic job taking care of injured street animals and spaying street dogs and thus reduce suffering. Please support them, if you can! I have seen many badly insured and starving dogs and cats in India and that country needs many more dedicated people like the ones from VSPCA.
